FEMININE POWERS #1: ALLEVIATE MENSTRUAL CRAMPS

Menstrual cramps are an ages-old nuisance that have been addressed with very little success from either folk remedies or modern medicine.

There is an ancient and simple Taoist exercise called Reverse Breathing that is an excellent remedy for all kinds of pain and discomfort in the internal organs, reproductive and otherwise. Once you're proficient at this exercise you can get almost immediate pain relief from: menstrual cramps, bloating due to gas, indigestion, constipation, and nausea. Reverse Breathing also helps prevent diseases of the lower abdomen including some cancers! Many ailments in this region of the body are caused by toxicity (due to blood stagnation) or energy blockages (also due to blood stagnation). Reverse Breathing resolves both issues.

The fact of the matter is, most humans don't use their lower abdomens very much or very well. Reverse Breathing offers a thorough workout and massage of all the tissues in the lower abdomen, including the stomach, intestines, diaphragm, colon, bladder, rectum, ovaries, uterus, birth canal, and the prostate gland as well. It is such a versatile and useful exercise for both men and women that you will find this same material repeated elsewhere in the site so nobody misses it!

Although Reverse Breathing is good for alleviating indigestion, it's usually best not to practice it if you've just eaten or on a full stomach. This exercise will speed up digestion a little, and food needs to spend the right amount of time in the stomach especially.

STEP 1: Find a place to sit. This exercise is similar to meditation in that it is most effective if you can do it somewhere away from distractions. However, once you are comfortable with the exercise, you can practice it anywhere, anytime, for any length of time, even while driving! You don't have to sit on the floor or a cushion. Reverse breathing can be practiced standing, or in a chair as well. If you sit in a chair, make sure your genitals are not stifled or cramped by your clothing or the chair cushions. Also, don't lean against the back of the chair. Use your back muscles to hold you upright, it's part of the exercise.

STEP 2: Sit correctly. Sit up straight, but not so much so that you're straining. Pretend there is a string attatched to the highest point on your head, and it's pulling towards heaven. Remember always to stay relaxed, especially your shoulders and your face muscles. If your posture is correct, there will be just the slightest curve to your back. Don't slouch! Keep the tip of your tongue lightly resting on the roof of your mouth, just behind your front teeth. Place your hands on your knees or in your lap, or on your belly just below your navel. If one hand is resting on the other, the palm side of the left hand should be touching the back side of the right hand.

STEP 3: Breathe. Don't force it. Inhale slowly to about 80% fullness. DON'T STOP OR HOLD THE BREATH. Keep in mind most people use 50% of their lung capacity or less, most of the time. As soon as you reach 80% full, start exhaling slowly. When you reach about 5% or 10% full, start inhaling again without pausing.

STEP 4: Pull in the lower abdomen. In normal breathing, as you INHALE your abdomen expands and sticks out. This exercise is called Reverse Breathing because when you inhale, you pull your lower abdomen IN, gently applying pressure to your internal organs. As you inhale your diaphragm applies pressure from above, and you pull IN the abdominal muscles to apply gentle compression from the front. [At first you will probably notice that you use your ENTIRE abdomen for this. After you try it a few times you will find that you can use the lower abdomen separately. The purpose of leaving the upper abdomen relaxed while pulling in the lower is that you can allow the diaphragm to expand to its natural fullness by keeping the upper abdomen relaxed.] Sitting up straight without being supported by a chair back is important because the lower back muscles provide compression from the rear. If you're leaning against a chair back this benefit will be lost.

STEP 5: Close the lower gates. By the lower gates we mean door #1 and door #2, or the muscles you use to 'hold it' when you have to go to the restroom. These groups of muscles are arranged in rings, and there are actually more than one ring for each 'door.' At first just get comfortable with gently squeezing shut door#1 and door#2 and pulling them inwards and upwards into your abdominal cavity. Ancient folklore tells of martial arts masters who could use this technique to actually retract their genitals inside their bodies to keep them from being attacked in combat! For our purposes, pulling inwards and upwards with these muscles provides compression from below. When you do this part of Reverse Breathing, you exercise a great many muscles that hardly ever get used, including a basket-like web of muscles holding up your intestines. If you practice Reverse Breathing WITHOUT closing door#1 and door#2 and pulling upwards, you can strain and actually damage this basket of muscles. If you do Reverse breathing without this part included, you can CAUSE herniated muscles. If you include this part of the exercise, you can actually PREVENT hernias. This part of Reverse Breathing is the one most beneficial for the sexual organs, and provides relief from cramps.

STEP 6: Put it all together. In short... Inhale, pull in the lower abs, and squeeze the lower gates closed and pull them upwards... all simultaneously. It seems like a lot to do at once when you read about it, but seriously, try Reverse Breathing just 20 or 30 breaths and you'll find it's quite easy. It seems complicated at first because you're learning to move in ways you're not accustomed to. Remember to stay relaxed. Don't hold the breath. And remember that WHOLE POINT of this exercise is to apply compression to the internal organs from the top, front, and underneath, using the erect back muscles as support from the rear. You may notice a little gas sometimes. It's completely normal. When you get a little experience at Reverse Breathing, you may find you can concentrate the pressure specifically on the exact spot that needs attention. FEMININE POWERS #2: HEALTHY TRACT

Many women are plagued with urinary tract infections that keep recurring and only seem to be cured with stronger and stronger drugs that seem to have as many side effects as the infection itself! There are two excellent natural cures for infections of the urinary tract, and both are effective for men and women.

The only side effect of these cures is that they are powerful antibiotics and can harm the normal bacteria etc. that are SUPPOSED to live in your body, like acidophilus and bifidus among others. If you kill off your normal population of beneficial microorganisms, you may have trouble digesting food, and you may even have diarrhea. If you are using these remedies, remember to eat a few servings of yogurt each day until your symptoms go away and you stop taking the remedy. You can also take acidophilus in a pill form if you're vegan or don't like yogurt.

CURE #1: Colloidal Silver. It looks and tastes like water, and it is mostly water with silver particles in it. Silver is an excellent antibiotic with no side effects in humans at all. An excellent brand of Colloidal Silver is Sovereign Silver, which can be purchased at your local health food supermarket. Follow the directions on the bottle. Take it on an empty stomach, and leave it under your tongue for 30 seconds or so before swallowing it.

CURE #2: GSE (grapeFRUIT seed extract). Not to be confused with grape seed extract. Also available at health food stores. GSE is a very strong citric acid, so you have to dilute it. If you get it on your skin full strength IT CAN BURN YOU, but if you dilute it, it's harmless. Try using ONE drop per TWO OUNCES of juice. GSE will leave a bitter aftertaste, and settles to the bottom so shake or stir it up often. If you find it hurts your tummy, you're making it too strong, so dilute it more. Drink some water to dilute it in your stomach and the discomfort will go away quickly. If you can get 30 or even 50 drops a day in you (do the math-that's 60-100 oz. of juice) you'll recover from most infections of all kinds very quickly. GSE makes your body very acidic, so if acidity is a problem for you already don't use it. Drinking carrot juice can help restore your body's ph balance.

NOTE: These antibiotics will destroy most microorganisms in the body without any side effects, and can be used to help fight colds/flu as well. As the microorganisms die off, they enter your bloodstream to be passed out of the body. Help your body with this process! Drink lots of water.
